The best part of any great company is the people who make it run. At Rimsys, we’re fortunate to work with many dedicated, talented, and interesting individuals from across the globe.
Having people with various skill-sets from all walks of life gives us a unique perspective on everything from improving processes and problem solving to recruiting and providing customer support. We wanted to highlight the many extraordinary people who make Rimsys a great company, and everyone agreed that we needed to start with Denise Moon, one of our amazing support engineers
Denise is a delightful “Country Girl” with a big heart. Hailing from the small town of Bishop, GA, about five miles outside of Athens, GA, she has over 25 years of experience in the IT field (18 in software development and support and 7 in enterprise software management). Her credentials include a Master’s degree in IT and a Certification in Project Management from the Project Management Institute.
Ms. Moon is a star at Rimsys, as she fills many roles, including app support, enterprise application management, supporting Rimsys’ internal network, and writing the occasional knowledge article for product releases and updates. Rimsys customers and employees both rely heavily on Denise’s tech expertise.
One could not possibly channel the magnitude of Denise’s large personality into a brief spotlight article. But, you can feel the enthusiasm and sincerity in her voice when she says the people and culture are her favorite things about working at Rimsys. “We work with some very unique and intelligent people,” she said cheerily during our conversation for this piece.
Some of Denise’s interests include puzzles and escape rooms (she loves to figure things out) and getting things done. It’s no wonder she’s so at home in the IT field! And, if she could travel anywhere in the world, she would go to Iceland because “...it’s such a beautiful place.”
You could say Denise is one of several renaissance women at Rimsys, and we’re lucky to have her as part of our team. While Ms. Moon didn’t clamor for this spotlight, she’s a star, and stars shine on their own.
